Alex Yeandle

I'm a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow in Politics at Nuffield College, University of Oxford.

 

In September 2026 I will join Aarhus University as Assistant Professor in Political Science.

I study the political consequences of technological change in low-income democracies. I'm interested in how rising access to mobile phones shapes public opinion, and how states use digital tools to expand their presence in society.

 

My recent work is published in, or forthcoming at, the American Journal of Political Science, British Journal of Political Science, Comparative Political Studies, and International Studies Quarterly.

I received my PhD from the London School of Economics, and was a visiting fellow at UNU-WIDER.
